Practicing Yoga can Help.

Yoga is a many-centuries old practice, originally from India but now widespread and mainstream in our Western culture. It’s called a practice, rather than an exercise or a sport, because the actual physical aspect of yoga—called asana—is only one “limb” of a belief system that also involves meditation, awareness of breath, and lifestyle choices.

The great thing about yoga is that there is no “right” way to practice it. Some of us find our inner peace through a hard, sweaty flow (or Bikram) class. Some of us like the discipline and consistency of Ashtanga. Some of us just like to lie around on a bolster and chill out.

Whatever your personal preference (and maybe you don’t even have one yet; that’s okay too!) our mission is to provide you with options.

We welcome your testimonial as to how yoga has helped you on your path as a single mom. Email us and we’ll post your personal experience right here on our site!
